Things as of late..

So... just a little catch up, considering there is nothing on here I decided I should add a few things that have been going on as of lately. **I will add the honeymoon later, many people have been asking about it**

Disclaimer: The pictures are off of my phone, so they aren't 100% awesome. I am in search for my camera which I miss dearly. Hopefully it will be found soon ish.

First- Colton && I were so excited to put up our FIRST christmas tree! We wanted a real one of course, so we found a good one at King's. It was happy. Colton decided he was going to put it on top of the car without strapping it down, we laughed the whole way home, hoping that it didn't fall off in the middle of the road.
Colton was soo excited about the tree.

We got the tree home, Colton got it all ready. We set it up and got it all decorated. I also decided that I wanted to make our tree skirt rather than buying one because I found one on pinterest (of course) and told myself I could do it. It was a great project for me to learn some patience! haha Many many lessons learned on what to do differently for next time. But it did turn out pretty good I must say.

Here's our finished FIRST tree.
Secondly- I have been getting my craft on a little bit since I spend most of the day alone, its been great that my family is out of school for Christmas break now, so I can hang out with them while Colton is at work. Such a good boy! :) Anyways.. I don't have lots of pictures, but here are two projects I did recently.

#1 My tree skirt. I was soo happy when it was finally finished. haha But it did keep me occupied for a few days.

#2 My mom had secret santa gifts to give the last week of school before they got out for Christmas break. They were just dollar gifts and then on the last day a bigger gift. Well she saw this quote she wanted to do because she had a kindergarten teacher. She got this picture frame that was just plain wood at the dollar store. So she ask me to spice it up. I just took scrapbook paper and made strips. Then I used Modge Podge and put it all on. Then I used ink pads and put the aqua on the edges. Then I stamped the saying she wanted, "dirtied" as I would call it the edges of the page. I didnt think it was quite finished yet, so I wrapped the twine around a few times and tied a flower. And it was finished. She loved it!!

Lastly- Colton && I wanted to build some gingerbread houses, so we bought a kit, we picked the village actually, but kept putting it off for a different day. Well we finally decided to do it and we invited Matthew and Bre to come too. They got the gingerbread train, which after this whole project, I wish we would have stuck with something simple too.

Matthew && Bre's Train.
SOOO cute!
Colton && I's Ugly Village.
Haha we got so sick of the tiny little details, we kind of gave up.
Anyways.. That was a fun little update. :) I'll post the honeymoon soon! Promise.
